🎉 Successful event at Ovidius University in Constanța: "Artificial Intelligence and Scientific Writing" – May 24, 2025

Pe 24 mai 2025, în Amfiteatrul A5 din corpul B al campusului Universității Ovidius din Constanța, a avut loc un eveniment interdisciplinar de excepție dedicat cercetării științifice și aplicabilității inteligenței artificiale (IA) în redactarea academică. Sub titlul „Inteligența Artificială și Redactarea Științifică”, programul a reunit peste 100 de participanți – studenți, doctoranzi, cadre didactice și cercetători – într-un cadru dinamic și inspirațional.

📚 A packed and valuable program
The event kicked off with an opening session led by Elena Danteș, followed by a series of captivating presentations and applied discussions on:

  • The structure and content of a scientific article (Tudor Toma),

  • Generative AI technologies for writing (Valentin Nagacevschi),

  • Ethics and risks of using AI in medical publications,

  • The Architecture of the Scientific Process (Adrian Vidrașcu),

  • Intelligence – from humans to algorithms (Andrei Stupu, PhD candidate).

🧠 Interactive panel and emerging trends
In the second part of the day, participants attended an interactive panel in which guest experts shared personal experiences, effective prompts, and useful tools for using AI in writing and research. The day ended with a question and answer session and open discussion, marking a lively dialogue between speakers and audience.

👥 Renowned guests
The event was attended by prominent figures from the fields of medicine, architecture, education, and technology:

  • Prof. Dr. Traian Mihăescu – with extensive experience in scientific writing and medical education,

  • Associate Professor Tudor Toma, PhD – promoter of ethics and critical thinking in medical research,

  • Valentin Nagacevschi – AI expert and co-founder of a medical technology company in London,

  • Lecturer Dr. Adrian Vidrașcu – specialist in sustainable architecture and knowledge management,

  • Dr. Andrei Stupu – researcher with interdisciplinary training, active in the fields of ethics, education, and AI.

💡 Conclusions
The event was a veritable platform for the exchange of ideas, collaboration, and critical reflection on how emerging technologies can contribute to rigorous, ethical, and relevant scientific research. The active participation and increased interest of the academic community confirms the need to continue such interdisciplinary initiatives.
